Morningstar: Real Estate Credit To Raise New Money For Funding Opportunities

Real Estate Credit Investments Ltd on Friday said it has raised GBP23.2 million through the issue of 13.9 million shares at 167.0 pence per share. The issue was oversubscribed due to "strong support from new and existing investors".

Real Estate Credit Investments Ltd said on Friday its net asset value per share remained flat over the first six months of its financial year, as Brexit uncertainty continued to overshadow the real estate sector. Net asset value per share as at September 30 came up to 164 pence per share, flat compared to March 31.

The investment companies research team at Winterflood has revealed its investment trust model portfolio for 2019, which includes 12 new names and ten disposals from last year's list, and which aims to take advantage of "proven managers" as well as value opportunities in the sector… In bonds, the team replaced the £607m P2P Global Investments and £346m SQN Asset Finance Income trusts with the £358 Fair Oaks Income and £254m Real Estate Credit Investments trusts, due to more attractive yields.
